Luxury carmaker Bentley has been given the go-ahead for a major expansion of its Cheshire headquarters to develop a new generation of vehicles. The company's full planning application to redevelop an 11.1-acre site immediately to the north of its existing home in Crewe was approved by Cheshire East Council's planning committee on Wednesday (18 May 2016). It requested permission to demolish all existing buildings on the site on the other side of Pyms Lane, which currently contains parking facilities for Bentley and a council waste depot.
