Almost every company I have designed or delivered training for has been looking for sustainable results. Well, of course they are, especially on the topics of management and leadership.

If what we suspect is true about younger workers expectations, management and leadership behaviours will become even more important over the coming years.

As good as any programme may be, unfortunately there is no silver bullet for sustained results. Accountability, however is most definitely a key ingredient.

The article quoted below looks at how management performance can be measured and therefore assessed and I agree with the suggestions. So often, companies plough into development initiatives without working out how they can measure its success.

As per this article, I would always suggest spending time mapping where and when management abilities, skills and performance show up.
